Front Desk Receptionist

SIMCO Construction is looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. The ideal candidate will manage front desk operations, handle administrative tasks, and provide excellent support to visitors, clients, and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and emails
  • Maintain the reception area to ensure a clean and organized appearance
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
  • Assist with basic administrative and clerical tasks (filing, data entry, photocopying)
  • Support office staff and management as needed
  • Maintain records and office supplies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus)
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in an administrative role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, phone systems)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a construction or engineering company is plus point
  • Knowledge of basic office administration procedures
