Front Desk Receptionist

Job Overview:
As the first point of contact for members and guests, a receptionist must be able to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support as well as excellent communication and multitasking skills. attitude, and a passion for hospitality. Essential functions include answering telephones, greeting members and guests as they arrive, and assisting with restaurant and event reservations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests in a warm, professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, direct calls to appropriate departments and take messages.
- Manage reservations for dining, events, and other club services.
- Assist with member check-ins and provide information about club amenities.
- Handle incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with other staff to ensure seamless service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Expectations:
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or higher.
- A minimum of one year in a reception related role. Experience is a resort, club or hospitality industry setting is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
