Front Desk Receptionist

Department: Clubhouse Services
Reports To: Assistant General Manager
Job Overview:
As the first point of contact for members and guests, a receptionist must be able to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support as well as excellent communication and multitasking skills. attitude, and a passion for hospitality. Essential functions include answering telephones, greeting members and guests as they arrive, and assisting with restaurant and event reservations.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet members and guests in a warm, professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, direct calls to appropriate departments and take messages.
  • Manage reservations for dining, events, and other club services.
  • Assist with member check-ins and provide information about club amenities.
  • Handle incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Expectations:
  • Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
Education and/or Experience
  • High School diploma or higher.
  • A minimum of one year in a reception related role. Experience is a resort, club or hospitality industry setting is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.
