Front Desk Receptionist

Job Summary
Five Borough Electric is seeking an energetic and detail oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, handle multi-line phone systems, and provide customer service to visitors, clients, and team members.

Duties

  • Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, answering inquiries and routing calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure all office supplies are stocked and accessible.
  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Manage material receipt, intake, and processing.
  • Sort and distribute daily incoming mail to ensure timely and accurate delivery to the appropriate departments and personnel.
  • Bank deposit drop offs.
  • Coordinate and manage panel printing services through Staples
  • Coordinate outgoing shipments and correspondence through the Post Office and FedEx, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Prepare and process monthly rent and expense payments, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
  • Write out Monthly outgoing rent & expense checks.
  • Maintain and regularly update the employee directory to ensure accurate personnel and contact information.
  • Keep the office clean and orderly by ensuring shared spaces are presentable and clutter-free throughout the day

Experience

  • Proven ability to manage multi-line phone systems with confidence and professionalism.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and basic data entry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for proofreading, filing, and record keeping tasks.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong phone etiquette.

Job Type: Full-time

Monday through Friday

8am-4pm

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
