Front Desk Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist. This vital role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting office management tasks to ensure a smooth and professional environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and possess excellent communication skills, ready to handle multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm and precision.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination using office management tools.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing, and proofreading documents for clarity and correctness.
  • Support office operations by managing supplies, organizing files, and assisting with clerical duties such as photocopying and scanning.
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and callers.
  • Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Office to streamline administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while managing busy front desk activities in a professional manner.
  • Assist with additional administrative responsibilities such as proofing documents, managing office emails, and supporting team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven office management or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and handling high-volume customer interactions.
  • Prior clerical experience including preferred.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles combined with professional phone etiquette.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines is beneficial.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
