Position Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist / Client Care Coordinator to join our SE Portland clinic. This role is often the first point of contact for clients, making it essential to our client experience and clinic flow. The ideal candidate is warm, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a busy clinical environment that serves clients with diverse identities and lived experiences.

This is a 40-hour/week, in-person position that works closely with the Clinic Manager, fellow administrative staff, therapists, and clients. The position is eligible for a competitive benefits package, including PTO, medical, HSA/FSA, vision, dental, and disability at the end of the 90 day probationary period.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and sensitivity
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls promptly
  • Respond to client emails with clarity and care
  • Process inbound referrals and support clients in accessing services
  • Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
  • Maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area
  • Assist clinicians and administrative staff with requests as needed
  • Provide general administrative support across the clinic
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Manager

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist, Medical Receptionist, or similar role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working independently while also being an active, collaborative team member
  • Attention to detail and sound professional judgment
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and procedures
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures and customer service best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Medical Receptionist or Personal Assistant
  • Two or more years of experience working with an EHR/EMR system
  • Experience in a healthcare, mental health, or social services setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
