Position Overview

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist / Assistant to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who loves dogs, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys creating exceptional client experiences. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in representing our brand and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets warmly and professionally
• Check pets in and out while reviewing services and pricing
• Communicate clearly with groomers and bathers regarding schedules, client requests, and grooming notes
• Answer phone calls, texts, and emails in a timely and friendly manner
• Schedule and manage grooming appointments efficiently
• Process payments and handle POS transactions accurately
• Assist groomers and bathers when needed (restraining pets safely, helping with drying, cleaning, kennel organization, etc.)
• Maintain client records and update pet information
• Keep the front desk, lobby, grooming area clean, organized, and welcoming
• Assist with retail product sales and recommend products when appropriate

What We’re Looking For

• Previous receptionist, customer service, or front desk experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a busy environment
