Front of House retail/restaurant manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on manager fluent in Arabic to oversee both our gourmet butchery retail space and our adjoining restaurant service area. You will lead retail staff, manage inventory and suppliers, ensure premium product standards, oversee restaurant front-of-house operations, and deliver exceptional guest experience. You will also be accountable for financial performance, cost control, staffing, training, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities (retail / shop):

Monitor daily shop operations: sales, merchandising, inventory, stock control

Ensure product presentation, labeling, shelf maintenance, hygiene

Liaise with butchery / meat suppliers, ensure quality and consistency

Manage and train shop floor staff in retail service, upselling, customer engagement

Key Responsibilities (restaurant / F&B):

Oversee front-of-house service, guest experience, reservations, seating

Train and supervise service staff (servers, hostess, host)

Coordinate service with kitchen, manage guest complaints, ensure standards

Qualifications / Skills:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail food / specialty food / gourmet retail or combined retail + F&B environment

Experience managing both front-of-house and retail operations

Fluency in Arabic and English (verbal + written)

Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking skills

Financial acumen: profit margins, cost controls

Strong customer orientation
