As Front Office Receptionist, We Rely On You To

Be well versed with the daily arrival and the type of arrival guests, e.g., return guest, Shangri-La Circle, VIP

Register all guests with required details and ensure all amenities are in room prior to guest arrival

Always take the opportunity to exceed guest expectations

Coordinate with the Bell desk and Concierge to assists guest with luggage upon check-in and checkout
-
Check-in/check-out guests as per Shangri-La standards and procedures

Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials

Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the reception

Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office

Answer, and forward incoming phone calls as required

Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
We Are Looking For Someone Who
-
Has proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role in a luxury hotel or a 5* hotel environment

Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fully understands room operations

Communicates with fluency in English (and local language)

Must be detail-focused and guest-oriented

Enjoys problem solving with a can-do attitude

Has strong interpersonal skills, solid written and verbal communication skills
