Frontend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Work with Line of Business on requirement gathering, user acceptance testing and post software release certification.

• Translate designs and style guides into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance.

• Work collaboratively with various backend systems in the Bank supplying data for various online banking functionalities.

• Work with the Performance Testing/ Browser testing/Monitoring Teams for performance tuning of the Bank of America Authentication Hub functionalities.

• Develop original and creative technical solutions meeting scalability, security, quality, and performance standards.

• Estimate level of effort, evaluate new options of similar technology, offer suggestions to improve processes, and provide comments on design aspects.

• Review product and/or application information including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy.

Primary Skill-JavaScript /ES6

Secondary Skill-Core Java

Tertiary Skill- .Net Core

Required Qualifications

• Highly skilled at front-end engineering using HTML5 and CSS, JavaScript, and JS libraries and frameworks.

• Experience with responsive web design concepts and methodologies

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

• An ideal candidate will demonstrate interest in platforms, technology trends, frameworks, design patterns, standards, and guidelines and will be specifically experienced/knowledgeable in core front-end technologies such HTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript

• Full-stack (server + client) development experience

• Fundamentals in object-oriented design.
