Full Charge Bookkeeper – Franchise Company

Employment Type: Full-Time (M-F 8:30 am- 5:30 pm) No hybrid or remote position available

We are a well‑established franchise organization seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our corporate office team. This role works directly with the President & CEO, and outside Accounting & Auditing Firm. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, confident working independently, and able to manage full-cycle bookkeeping along with important administrative responsibilities.Responsibilities

  • Maintain full-charge bookkeeping for the corporate office
  • Collect, review, and record financial data submitted by franchise locations
  • Verify accuracy of franchisee business transactions and financial reports
  • Perform monthly reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with year‑end reconciliations and preparation for audits
  • Manage ACH and credit card payment collections
  • Prepare and calculate corporate quarterly and annual award programs
  • Communicate regularly with franchise locations across the country
  • Collaborate with outside accounting and auditing firms
  • Provide administrative support including answering phones, filing, and coordinating mailings
  • Utilize QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams daily

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, growing organization
  • Experience working with franchise systems (preferred, not required)

About the RoleThis is a key position within our corporate office supporting a growing franchise network. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and Franchisee's, while playing a crucial role in maintaining accurate financials, supporting audits, and ensuring seamless administrative operations.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
