TAKMIL (Teach a Kid Make Individual Life), is a commitment to reach out-of-school children (OOSC) and provide free and quality education in marginalized and vulnerable communities of Pakistan. TAKMIL is making this happen through a customized and tailored delivery system developed to address the challenges faced in these communities.

Since its founding in 2017, TAKMIL has provided basic education to over 1500 out-of-school children from 30 various low-income communities across Pakistan. Today, we are one of the growing rural networks of non-formal schools with 22 schools in Punjab, Sindh, KP, and Balochistan.

Through social media and a network of passionate supporters creating fundraising campaigns, we aim to make education a reality for every child deprived of this right.

Job Overview

TAKMIL is seeking a passionate and self-driven Full Stack JavaScript Developer with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing team. This role requires expertise in modern backend and frontend technologies, with a strong emphasis on performance, maintainability, and scalability. The candidate will work closely with the team to build and improve our platforms used to deliver impact-driven education solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using NestJS, TypeScript, TypeORM, and Vue.js.

Design and consume RESTful APIs with efficient and secure communication between services.

Build cloud-native solutions using Serverless Azure Functions and work with other components of the Azure ecosystem.

Develop pixel-perfect user interfaces using Tailwind CSS and Vue.js.

Implement and maintain backend architecture using PostgreSQL and TypeORM.

Write unit and integration tests using Jest and Vitest to ensure application reliability and performance.

Use Git, JIRA, and GitHub Actions for version control, project management, and CI/CD automation.

Optimize application bundling and performance using Webpack.

Collaborate with designers, QA, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software.

Participate in occasional in-person team meetings in Islamabad.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a solid understanding of NestJS, TypeScript, and Vue.js.

Experience working with PostgreSQL, TypeORM, and cloud platforms like Azure.

Familiarity with Serverless architecture and deployment.

Proficiency in writing and maintaining test suites using Jest and Vitest.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Comfortable working in an agile environment with tools like Git and JIRA.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs140,000.00 per month
