Schedule: Monday–Friday | ~9:30 AM–3:30 PM (40–50 hrs./week)

Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour

Loving family in quiet rural home located near Purcellville in Western Loudoun County is seeking an experienced, nurturing and dependable nanny to provide attentive care for their three-month-old baby. This role focuses on creating a calm, consistent environment that supports healthy infant development, feeding routines, and sleep rhythms during the baby's early months.

The family is looking for a caregiver who is naturally attentive, patient, and experienced with infants. The ideal candidate understands the importance of early developmental engagement and enjoys building a warm, responsive relationship with a baby during their first year.

This is intended to be a long-term placement, providing stability for both the child and the caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Primary Responsibilities

Infant Care

Provide attentive, hands-on care for the infant throughout the workday Follow the baby’s feeding and nap schedule
Prepare bottles and clean feeding supplies Diapering and maintaining proper hygiene routines
Monitor developmental milestones and provide age-appropriate stimulation Engage in activities that support early brain development

Developmental Engagement

Tummy time and movement activities Reading, singing, and talking with the baby
Sensory play appropriate for early infancy Encouraging healthy sleep and soothing routines

Nursery & Baby-Related Organization

Washing bottles and baby feeding items Baby laundry and folding infant clothing
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of nursery areas Keeping baby supplies stocked and organized

This position focuses on child-related responsibilities only and does not include heavy housekeeping or full household management duties.

Long-Term Stability

The family is seeking a nanny who values consistency and reliability and is interested in building a long-term relationship with their household.

Ideal Candidate Qualities

· Experienced caring for infants (newborn or under one year preferred)

· Patient, nurturing, and attentive to infant cues

· Organized and dependable

· Knowledge about infant developmental stages

· “Baby-led weaning" experience (Nice to Have but Not a “Deal Breaker”)

· Calm, warm, and emotionally responsive

· CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

· Non-smoker

· Long-term mindset (12+ months preferred)

Compensation & Benefits
