Full-Time Infant Nanny

Location: Essex, MA, 01929

Children's Ages: 5 months

Start Date: April 22nd, 2026

Compensation: $30-$35 an hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

Description: A laid back family in Essex is seeking a warm, experienced nanny to care for their infant daughter. The ideal candidate has strong infant-care experience, communicates openly, and is comfortable working in a home where both parents work remotely. They are looking for someone easy-going, organized, and confident in caring for young infants.

Responsibilities:

Primary focus is caring for the infant child and supporting her development, including:

• Bottle feeding and infant care
• Supporting naps and sleep routines
• Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities (tummy time, play, books, walks)
• Diapering and basic hygiene
• Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment

Light baby-related household tasks when time allows:

• Baby laundry
• Tidying baby areas
• Organizing baby supplies

During the typical 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM window she generally:

• Takes about 3 naps
• Has a bottle every 2–4 hours (about 20 oz before 5 PM)
• Enjoys tummy time, independent play, stroller walks, and reading books
• No screen time

She is currently very smiley and comfortable around people.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience caring for infants
• Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Excellent References (3)
• Reliable transportation/license
• Non-smoker
• Willing to submit background check and motor vehicle report
• Able to make at least a year commitment
• Organized, reliable, and competent
• Warm, patient, and attentive
• Full vaccinations required
• Comfortable with both parents working from home
• One cat in the household
