Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design and develop bespoke furniture pieces, oversee FF&E selections, and create 3D visualizations to communicate design concepts effectively. This role requires a balance of creativity, technical skills, and market knowledge to ensure designs are both aesthetically compelling and feasible for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative furniture collections aligned with the Company’s design philosophy.
• Translate design briefs into detailed sketches, technical drawings, and 3D renderings.
• Prepare FF&E schedules, material specifications, and mood boards for projects.
• Collaborate with the production team and factory to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Source and specify materials, finishes, hardware, and upholstery options.
• Work closely with suppliers, craftsmen, and vendors to achieve the desired finish and quality.
• Produce high-quality 3D renderings to present design concepts.
• Support installation and on-site styling when required.
• Stay updated on global furniture design trends, sustainability practices, and new materials.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Furniture Designer (luxury residential or hospitality projects preferred).
• Strong knowledge of furniture construction, joinery, ergonomics, and finishes.
• Proficiency in 3D rendering software (3ds Max, V-Ray, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar).
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
• Excellent visualization, drawing, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and project management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
