Earning Opportunity:

Sweats Furniture is committed to your success. Our training program will teach you everything you need to know about how we serve our customers and our product line.

We offer an uncapped commission structure with a guaranteed income feature. There is a potential to earn $50,000 to $100,000 per year. Our unique guaranteed income component provides generous base earnings, giving you peace of mind.

We are offering up to $8,000 guaranteed salary for the first 60 days of employment. New hires will be guaranteed to make no less than $4,000 per month for their first 2 months. We anticipate new hires will be making at least this amount, or more, after 90 days due to our continued record-breaking sales. However, this is dependent upon individual sales after training is complete!

What you do:

At Sweats Furniture, we are driven to delight our customers by offering personalized design, quality home furnishings, and an outstanding customer experience. We put our customers first in all we do, so you will make connections and discover needs. You will work in collaboration and partnership with other Team Members and the Designer in your store to ensure that your client’s vision is brought to life. You will build and maintain your relationship with your client to ensure their needs are met for now and years to come.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide an elevated level of service to our customers from contact through delivery and beyond
• Reinforce customer selections and assist in completing the look of their rooms
• Provide product, service, and finance expertise based on your customer’s needs
• Engage with our clients using Sweats Furniture customer relationship system and provide professional follow up

Successful Sweats Furniture Sales Consultants:

As a Sweats Furniture Sales Consultant, you must be highly driven and self-motivated to achieve individually while being a supportive team member as you contribute to overall store success and customer satisfaction. You must also be highly organized and able to maintain a responsive follow-up schedule. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to connect and establish relationships with a diverse group of customers. Successful Sweats Furniture Sales Consultants excel in creating connections with our customers, understanding their needs, and help to bring the vision of their home to life.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• College education required; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Positive and engaging personality
• Creative flare and energetic attitude
• Ability to overcome customer objections
• Familiarity with a broad range of furniture styles and products preferred, but not required
• Ability to work a retail schedule
• Computer proficiency including email experience required; knowledge and use of MS Office software preferred; Tablet/iPad operation abilities strongly preferred
