FX & Treasury Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Treasury team as an FX & Treasury Analyst. The primary focus of this role is to support the development and execution of competitive, data-driven FX Strategies globally. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Treasury, Finance, and Business teams to ensure optimised pricing, efficient liquidity management and strategic decision making in a multi-currency environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor global currency markets and important economic updates.
• Analyse competitor exchange rates in available currencies and spot where we can do better.
• Support in creating FX pricing plans that match our business goals and profit targets.
• Suggest changes to rates team based on live market updates and margin trends.
• Support to set daily FX rates for both sending and receiving countries, based on currency exposure.
• Review margins regularly to see how much profit we’re making per currency.
• Share daily FX rate summaries and updates with the internal team.
• Run simulations to see how rate changes affect profits and apply hedging strategies where needed.
• Build models and dashboards to guide pricing and strategy decisions.
• Stay in touch with partners and banks to collect up-to-date rate information.
• Track important FX KPI's like profit margin, rate changes, and currency volatility.
• Support to plan how much cash is needed in each currency for upcoming transactions.
• Review deal performance to find corridors that are less profitable or more expensive.
• Spot hedging opportunities quickly and give suggestions to reduce risk.
• Watch how the market reacts to our rate changes and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in FX, treasury, or financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of currency markets, currency exposure, hedging techniques and FX pricing dynamics.
• Proficient in MS Excel, experience with BI tools is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
