The Front Desk Associate, Host is the welcoming voice and face of the Wrigley Mansion. The first point of contact, ensuring every Guest's journey begins with exceptional service and a touch of magic. We believe in creating genuine, hand-tailored moments for our guests, where every interaction is infused with warmth and personality.
Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences for all brands within the Wrigley Mansion.
Warmly greet and welcome all Guests.
Check in Guests for the restaurant reservations and history tours.
Ensure Guests dining in the restaurant are seated in a timely manner.
Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and a personal touch.
Role expectation will be responsible for the following characteristics: professional but personable, gracious, upbeat tone (i.e. Guests should be able to hear the friendliness through the phone), ability to stay composed, problem resolution - identify opportunities on the spot.
Ensure the first impression a Guest has of the Wrigley Mansion through reservation bookings or initial inquiries is positive and informative.
Understand and maintain a proper amount of reservations to best control the flow of business. Facilitating best practices for the dining room and culinary success.
Menu organization, ensuring accuracy, wine menu stuffing, and cleaning.
Maintain a clean and tidy work space.
Coordination of server sections with assistance of management.
Resolve reservation issues and Guest concerns with composure and creativity, identifying opportunities to enhance their experience.
Reporting any problem reservations to management and documentation of any negative guest feedback for management to respond.
Assist in Guest relations enhancements, including special menu printing, small signage for events team, blueprint gifts from the Mansion for special occasions, and floral arrangements and decor.
Self motivated to finish daily check lists quickly and efficiently.
Stay organized with communication with Guests and passing along messages to Events Team, General Managers, Executive Chefs and other departments in the Wrigley Mansion.
Commitment to continued knowledge of menus, Mansion seasonal schedule and offerings to help Guests navigate their needs.
Maintains a dependable work attendance record.
Assist with Membership maintenance & communication, backup event intake details for Events Planning team and general administrative duties.
Ability to stand for 6+ hours.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, & holidays.
Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
