JOB TITLE: Game Hosts
REPORTS TO: General Manager
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Enhance the guest experience and make them feel welcomed. First impressions are lasting. Our crew members set the mood and standard for our guests on what GameTime is all about. Outgoing, personable, inviting and encouraging a sense of fun is what always greets guests at GameTime.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Greet guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while performing multiple job functions.
2. Invite guests back on their departure.
3. Encourage potential guests to “come in and give GameTime a try”
4. Provides timely and accurate information and service as needed to guests, crew members and managers.
5. Dresses in proper dress code requirements, neat, clean and professional at all times.
6. Practices proper cost controls by scanning all merchandise out to guests with e-tickets.
7. Notifies management of any guests that are unhappy.
8. Provides clear communication to any down games or games not working correctly to Technicians and management.
9. Identify, prevent and resolve potential problems
10. Operate POS station
11. Give safety instructions on any attendant based attractions.
12. Review the cleanliness and organization of the redemption counter display and wall display.
13. Redeem redemption e-tickets for prizes for guests.
14. Re-stock and rotate prize selection.
15. Assist other team members as needed.
16. Ensuring that management is fully informed of all problems or any unusual matters. Takes corrective action when necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
17. Promotes a cooperative and harmonious working climate by maintaining a favorable working relationship with fellow co-workers.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Performs other related duties as assigned.
JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Knowledge/Skills
Great customer service skills
Physical Demands
Must be friendly and able to smile frequently.
General activities including walking, talking, standing, typing, lifting and carrying up to
30 lbs.
Works in a noisy, fast paced environment filled with many distractions.
Move about facility and stand for long periods of time.
Walk or stand 100% of shift.
Reach, bend and stoop frequently throughout shift.
Mental Demands
Work days, nights and weekends as required by business volume, as well as some holidays.
Must be able to provide excellent customer service
Must have excellent time management and follow up skills necessary to perform in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Read and write handwritten notes.
Equipment and Special Materials
Computer, printer, photocopy machine, fax machine etc. POS Systems
