Garage Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the garage/workshop, ensuring all vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely.
• Assign and monitor tasks for mechanics, technicians, and support staff.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and UAE regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues, coordinate repairs, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables; manage procurement as needed.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on garage operations, workforce performance, and inventory status.
• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior mechanics and technicians.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests professionally.
• Collaborate with management to improve workflow efficiency and reduce downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a garage/workshop environment in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising a team of 5-20 staff.
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws, health and safety regulations, and workshop best practices.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred:

• Technical certification or diploma in automotive mechanics/engineering.
• Experience with computerized workshop management systems.
• Knowledge of different vehicle makes and models, including luxury cars.

A valid UAE driving license is usually mandatory
