We’re Hiring: GC Estimator (General Contractor Estimator)

Full-Time | Onsite – Township College Road, Lahore | US Construction Market

We are looking for a skilled GC Estimator to support our clients with accurate and timely cost estimates across various residential and commercial projects.

Position Overview

As a GC Estimator, you’ll be responsible for preparing detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for general construction projects. You will work closely with our project management and sales teams to deliver high-quality estimates that meet client specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform detailed material and quantity takeoffs using estimating software
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
• Collaborate with sales and project teams to clarify scope and pricing details
• Ensure estimates are completed within defined turnaround times
• Assist in preparing and reviewing final bid proposals
• Stay updated on US construction market standards and pricing trends
• Communicate with clients (when needed) to clarify project requirements or respond to RFIs

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
• Experience: 3–5 years in construction estimation (US market experience preferred)
• Proficient in PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar takeoff software
• Strong understanding of CSI divisions, construction methods, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communication in English

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RSMeans, CostWorks, or other pricing databases
• Familiarity with US construction codes and standards
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Strong teamwork and time management abilities
