General Accountant

Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Accountant to manage key financial operations, with a focus on accounts receivable, customer account management, and VAT compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, attention to detail, and experience working in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable collections and follow-up with customers
• Maintain and update customer statement of accounts regularly
• Oversee customer invoice approvals and documentation
• Record and verify purchase transactions accurately
• Handle petty cash disbursements and reconciliations
• Prepare and submit VAT filings in compliance with UAE regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
