General Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
• Bookkeeping: Record daily transactions, reconcile bank statements, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory returns as required.
• Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoicing, payments, and collections while maintaining accurate ledgers.
• Financial Analysis: Provide insights on cost control, profitability, and financial efficiency.
• Software & Systems: Utilize accounting software QuickBooks to streamline financial processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is a plus).
Experience: 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with high accuracy in financial reporting.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for financial reporting and stakeholder interaction.
