General Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank reconciliations and tax compliance. The Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with other members of the finance and accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Prepare and file tax returns and other compliance documents.
• Monitor and analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and standards.
• Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and advice.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero, or Sage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
