General Accountant

IMMEDIATE JOINER ONLY WITH 2 YEARS UAE EXPERIENCE

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations for our OOH media business. The role involves handling billing for outdoor advertising campaigns, vendor and site owner payments, cost tracking for media assets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records
• Prepare client billing and invoices for OOH advertising campaigns
• Track site rental costs, municipality fees, printing, and installation expenses
• Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely client collections
• Process accounts payable, including payments to site owners, suppliers, and vendors
• Perform bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities
• Monitor campaign-wise budgets, costs, and profitability
• Handle UAE VAT accounting, filings, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide required financial reports

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (OOH or advertising industry experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

Skills & Competencies

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
• Good coordination with sales, operations, and vendors
• Problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience with OOH media billing, client contracts, and site lease accounting
• Familiarity with project-based or campaign-wise accounting

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
