General Accountant (Female)

1. Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, perform reconciliations, process invoices, and support month‑end and year‑end reporting. The role ensures accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely financial reporting.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Financial Recording & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records.
  • Record journal entries including accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in preparing management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including IFRS.

B. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all AP/AR transactions.

C. General Ledger & Reconciliations

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies.
  • Correct errors and ensure accurate posting of all transactions.

D. Budgeting & Forecasting Support

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor variances and provide necessary financial insights.

E. Tax & Audit Support

  • Maintain organized tax records and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audit cycles.
  • Provide requested schedules, reports, and supporting documents.

F. Internal Controls & Documentation

  • Maintain proper controls over financial transactions.
  • Ensure all supporting documents are properly filed and archived.
  • Respond to financial queries from management and internal departments.

G. Daily Finance Support

  • Support the finance team in day‑to‑day operations.
  • Assist with any additional finance tasks assigned by management.

3. Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required).

4. Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (Required).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems (Preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.

5. Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong integrity and professionalism.

6. Location

  • Doha, Qatar (Required)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365: 1 year (Required)
  • Accounting: 4 years (Required)
