General Accountant | Saudi Company

As a General Accountant you will be managing day-to-day accounting operations. This role is essential in ensuring the financial health of the business through accurate record-keeping, timely payments, and compliance with Saudi financial regulations, including taxes and zakat.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Monitor and report on cash flow and budget performance.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi tax and zakat regulations; support preparation and submission of returns.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and journal entries.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate financial tracking of inventory and events.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to the Saudi market.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax/zakat regulations in KSA.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
