About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a General Assistant to join the resort’s Wynn Oasis team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Assist technicians in basic repair tasks including tile replacement, door adjustments, fixture tightening, and minor plumbing works.
• Support electrical teams in replacing lights, sockets, and switches under supervision.
• Help HVAC teams with filter cleaning, coil washing, and basic servicing tasks.
• Perform patching, painting, and minor carpentry work as directed.
• Support façade cleaning teams with access preparation and safety setup.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining external areas, service corridors, and technical rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of maintenance zones, pump rooms, rooftops, and service yards.
• Support seasonal cleaning drives and facility-wide deep cleaning initiatives.
• Help organize tools, consumables, and spare parts in maintenance stores.
• Assist in transporting materials and equipment between buildings and work zones.
• Report to the Principal Building Technician and follow daily task assignments.
• Cooperate with other departments to complete shared tasks and respond to urgent requests.
• Remain available for deployment across different zones based on business needs.
• Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and adhere to permit-to-work procedures.
• Participate in toolbox talks and basic safety training sessions.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of building maintenance tools and procedures.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within residential or hospitality environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in varied conditions.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
