The General Laborer Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for skilled, reliable General Laborers with a strong work ethic who are eager to learn our unique construction/renovation process from our talented team and grow with our company.

• Assist with site layout, measurement, excavation, plumbing, backfilling, forming, steel tying, concrete placement, rigging, and installation.
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Safely operate a variety of tools, including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and various hand tools
• Safely operate heavy equipment
• Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g., scaffolding)
• Follow all safety regulations and ensure proper PPE is worn.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE one (1) year of construction experience.
• Must be able to regularly travel and work out of town.
• Must be able to utilize air transportation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Prompt and punctual attendance at the shop or job site is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 80 pounds etc.)
• Pass background and drug screening
• Be able to pass a drug test and be subject to random drug testing.
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machinery
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset but not necessary
