About the Role
Vanguard Vantage General Contracting is looking for a professional General Manager to oversee the entire business, in addition to managing the profit and loss, driving project delivery excellence, and enhancing our commercial and operational frameworks. The successful applicant will combine strategic leadership with hands-on project management, commercial expertise, and a strong safety and quality culture.

Minimum Requirement Should Be:

• Total 10 years of experience with 5 years as a General Manager in a contracting/construction company within the UAE/GCC.

Key Responsibilities

• Governance of the project lifecycle from tender handover to close‑out (schedule, cost, quality, HSE). HSE & Quality leadership in line with OSHAD/NEBOSH and ISO standards.
• Commercial & contracts management (FIDIC/UAE): variations/claims, EOT, dispute avoidance.
• Procurement & supply chain: vendor strategy, subcontractor performance, value and schedule certainty.
• Client & stakeholder management: escalation resolution, handover acceptance, repeat business.
• Reporting & controls: WIP, cost‑to‑complete, collections, dashboards, and audit readiness.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

· Proven track record in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, and large-scale developments.

• Proven success running multi‑project operations in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong command of FIDIC, claims/variations, and client/consultant interface.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 / MS Project and construction ERP/Project Controls tools.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, financial literacy, and stakeholder communication.
