General Manager

Job Summary:

Al Janah Electrical Company is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee overall business operations, drive sales growth, and ensure efficient management of all departments. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and extensive experience in the electrical lighting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the company, including sales, procurement, finance, and warehouse functions
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and increase profitability
• Lead and manage branch managers and department heads across Kuwait
• Drive sales growth by identifying new market opportunities and strengthening client relationships
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost control measures
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and key clients
• Improve operational efficiency and streamline processes
• Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain high performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management role
• Strong experience in the electrical lighting or electrical trading industry
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage)
• Ability to handle multiple branches and teams effectively

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Kuwait or GCC market
• Strong supplier and project network in electrical lighting
• Strategic planning and business development expertise
