Position Title: General Manager Construction
Department: Construction & Project Execution
Work Schedule: Full-Time | Mon - Sat | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Karachi, Pakistan

Role Summary:

The General Manager Construction will lead multi-site execution for large-scale residential and commercial high-rise projects across Karachi & Lahore. The role is responsible for overseeing 6–8 active sites, ensuring on-time project delivery, cost control, structural quality, and compliance with company standards. This position requires strong leadership, financial control capability, contractor management expertise, and experience in premium real estate developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee execution of 6–8 simultaneous construction sites
• Ensure project timelines are met without quality compromise
• Monitor structural, finishing, and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing execution standards
• Control budgets, material consumption, and cost leakage
• Approve BOQs Bill of Quantities (document listing materials, labor, and costs for a construction project) contractor bills, and vendor payments.
• Conduct weekly site audits and performance reviews
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and procurement teams
• Implement quality assurance protocols across all sites
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans
• Report consolidated progress and financial updates

Requirement

• Education: BE / BSc Civil Engineering
• Experience: 8 – 15 years in construction industry

Industry Exposure:

• Experience handling high-rise residential & commercial projects
• In-depth knowledge of BOQ, cost control, budgeting, and contractor billing.
• Strong understanding of structural works, finishing standards, and MEP coordination.
• Experience handling multiple active sites (5+ simultaneously).
• Working knowledge of project scheduling tools and advanced Excel reporting.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• High accountability, performance-driven mindset, and strong ethical standards.
