General Manager - E-Commerce (Sportswear & Supplements)

Our client — a growing martial arts club with an established retail presence — is seeking a visionary General Manager to lead its e-commerce business into the next phase of growth. With strong brand equity in martial arts gear and premium supplements, the company is now aiming to expand into broader sportswear, fitness accessories, and health products .

We're looking for a leader who combines digital commerce expertise with product and brand intuition , capable of scaling this platform into a market leader in the sports retail space.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the end-to-end e-commerce strategy, covering product expansion, marketing, sales, and customer experience
• Identify growth categories beyond martial arts - including general sportswear, gym gear, and nutritional supplements
• Build strategic partnerships with leading brands and distributors
• Oversee digital marketing, performance campaigns, and influencer collaborations to drive traffic and conversion
• Lead inventory planning, merchandising strategy, and pricing optimization
• Build and mentor a high-performing team (content, operations, marketing, customer service)
• Report directly to the founders/board with performance dashboards, growth roadmaps, and market insights
• Align commercial execution with the club's brand, values, and athletic community
  
  

Requirements

• 6-10 years experience in e-commerce or retail leadership, preferably in sports, fitness, or consumer products
• Proven track record in scaling an online store (startup or established) — preferably with multi-category growth
• Strong understanding of digital performance marketing, marketplace dynamics, and customer lifecycle
• Commercially sharp, brand-aware, and highly data-driven
• Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar platforms is a plus
• Passion for fitness, martial arts, or active lifestyle industries is a strong advantage
• Bilingual (Arabic + English) preferred
