Our client is a well-funded fintech with an approved CBB license and an existing global footprint across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. They are seeking to leverage Bahrain’s progressive regulatory environment as a launchpad for next-generation crypto and payments solutions in the GCC.

We are seeking a General Manager to be the leader on-the-ground in Manama. You will be the architect of the firm’s MENA growth strategy, responsible for building local presence, driving strategic business development and revenue and owning the P&L from day one.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Bahrain entity and the wider MENA region.
• Identify, negotiate and close key partnerships with financial institutions, payment processors and enterprise clients.
• Full responsibility for the financial health, budgeting, forecasting and revenue growth of the Bahrain operation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with the CBB, ensuring exemplary compliance.
• Recruit, mentor and lead a high-performing team across commercial and support functions.
• Work with global leadership to align regional strategy with global product and technology roadmaps.

Candidate Profile:

• 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in crypto/digital assets and/or payments.
• Proven track record in sales and business development in the GCC.
• Understanding of the regulatory and cultural landscape.
• History of sourcing, structuring, and closing high-value commercial and strategic partnerships.
• Comfortable setting high-level strategy but also happy to roll up their sleeves to execute
