PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

To assist the Almoayyed Interiors Division General Manager in managing and directing the company operations, to plan, organize and direct the activities of the ID/Fitouts/Joinery/Carpentry/ Engineering and construction departments, to analyse and recommend the policies and procedures related to the assigned departments, and to provide highly complex assistance to the General Manager.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

OM, Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers, Planning Managers & QS.

SUMMARY OF MAIN DUTIES

1. Assists the General Manager in formulating business and market competitive strategies and developing the Annual plan and Budget for Almoayyed Interior Projects.

2. Oversee and Manage the Almoayyed Interior department project operations.

3. Performs general administrative tasks for the General Manager.

4. Project Initiation includes obtaining necessary approvals to establish site facilities, mobilization of resources to commence the project after contract signoff.

5. Project Planning for effective time, cost & resource management, including submitting overall project schedule of works for obtaining client signoff.

6. Project Execution, encompassing wide spectrum of responsibilities for execution of components required for completion of project within project duration, allocated cost budget and to client acceptance.

7. Project Monitoring and Control to check ongoing project stage wise deliverable for compliance of final project requirements.

8. Project Closure involves signoff for final acceptance of the project by client, documentation of lessons learned accessible to key project management personnel in the organization to improve upon shortcomings for effectively managing future projects.

9. Project Integration Management wherein all the sub projects are effectively integrated to achieve the overall project goal.

10. Project scope management wherein scope of the project is confirmed and communicated to all project staff.

11. Project Procurement management wherein ‘Make or Buy’ decision analysis is conducted to understand time and cost implication for effective procurement planning.

12. Project Resource management for effective utilization of human resources and material resources.

13. Project communication management for effective dissemination of project status to key stake holders

14. Project change management to document and communicate the cost and time implication of the changes made to the original approved project scope.

15. Identify and suggest the best practices and plans.

16. Review and authorize the budget prepared by the tender department.

17. Monitoring the budget of the project to identify any potential slippages and execute corrective measures if required.

18. Generate the necessary reports related to the different projects for the higher management’s review.

20. Conduct the project review with the project teams on completion and provide proper feedback to the management.

21. In the absence of the General Manager, assume the responsibility of the General Manager as assigned.

22. Assess current and future staffing needs based on organizational goals and budget realities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

BE in Civil or BArch Graduate with 15 – 20 years’ experience in a similar position.

Pay: BD1,800.000 - BD2,000.000 per month
