GIS survey Technician

1. Conducting physical survey in field to design FTTH network.

2. Preparation of base map and ODN design in Arc GIS software as per design guidelines.

3. Ensure that all required information is collected during survey and incorporated in basemap.

4. Prepare survey reports and keep records.

5. Technical knowledge of GPON and industry standards for OSP implementation.

6. Detail knowledge and hands on experience of design software including ArcGIS, Autocad, google earth

Competencies

1. Hands on experience of Arc GIS Software

2. Good surveyor

3. MS Word and MS Excel

4. Detail knowledge and hands on experience of FTTH network design and deployment

5. Understanding challenges to the telecom industry, specific to FTTH domain

6. Knowledge of the new advancements and technological changes in the telecom sector

7. Team player

External Network: Contractors

Internal Network: NOD teams, PMO, Business Operations, M&L

Communication Responsibilities

External Communication: Design templates

Internal Communication: Survey reports, ODN Design

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
