Global Export Sales & Import Purchase Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Export Sales & Import Procurement Manager to lead our international sales operations and global purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding export markets, managing international buyers, sourcing global suppliers, negotiating pricing, and ensuring smooth trade operations from order to shipment.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, global market awareness, and hands-on experience in international trade.

Key Responsibilities

EXPORT SALES

• Develop and grow export sales for fruits, vegetables, rice, FMCG, and other product categories.
• Identify new international buyers and markets through research and networking.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate deals, finalize sales agreements, and close orders.
• Maintain strong relationships with buyers across Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa, and North America.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for bookings, shipments, and documentation.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

IMPORT PROCUREMENT

• Identify and source reliable international suppliers for agricultural commodities, industrial items, FMCG, and other import lines.
• Obtain quotes, evaluate product quality, compare pricing, and negotiate payment & delivery terms.
• Manage purchase cycles under DA payment methods.
• Maintain budgets and cost control for imported items.

REPORTING & MANAGEMENT

• Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales, procurement, shipments, and payments.
• Maintain CRM records, trade logs, and purchase histories.
• Support management in strategy planning and market expansion.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
• Experience in Export Sales, Import Procurement, or International Trade.
• Strong negotiation skills with buyers and suppliers.
• Knowledge of global markets, Incoterms, shipping procedures, and trade finance.
• Proficient in documentation and coordination with logistics/clearing.
• Excellent written & spoken English.
• Ability to multitask, think commercially, and work under deadlines.
