WE are seeking a Global Finance Team Leader to reinforce our Global Finance Team.


What we are looking for?


  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in business administration, economics, finance or other related fields,
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting, finance or audit. Big4 background is preferable,
  • Advance knowledge and experience in Turkish GAAP, Capital Markets Board regulations and IFRS reporting.
  • Knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting and internal control procedures,
  • Having professional certificates with regard to financial reporting, analysis, audit or internal control (such as CPA, SPL License, etc.) is a plus,
  • Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills in Turkish and English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, other internal and external parties,
  • Required to provide support in problem solving to all other functions, having strong communication, influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office required. BPC, HFM and/or SAP experience is preferable,
  • Strong analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, energetic, fast in action but with detailed planning, focused on learning & personal development,
  • No restrictions to travel in Turkey and high flexibility for Global Mobility,
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a tight deadline oriented environment with a high sense of responsibility, outstanding attention to detail and accuracy,
  • Experience in a multi entity – multi time zone, international environment is an asset.



What you will be doing?


  • Following-up the consolidated budget, outlooks and actual reporting processes by controlling the budget work of the functions / subsidiaries and aiding when necessary, validating accuracy of financial data, business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions,
  • Working with finance function professionals in subsidiaries and sites to analyse and identify the drivers of financial performance and trends,
  • Preparing and reporting ad-hoc and periodic management reports, regional and site KPI reports, monthly reporting packs and presentation to BoD and other senior management,
  • Controlling consolidation packages and audit reports of sites,
  • Following up the updates on IFRS, regulations and accounting policies and assessing the effects on financials, communicating those effects to related departments,
  • Taking initiative to improve financial analysis and reporting processes & management reporting, organizing and delivering training on various reporting / controlling tools and processes,
  • Facilitating knowledge and sharing best practices within the finance function globally,
  • Supporting other business functions by providing timely and accurate supplemental financial information,
  • Maintaining data quality by challenging accuracy and the completeness of the data gathered,
  • Identification and implementing improvements on the IT systems (SAP, BPC, HFM, etc.) to align with IFRSs and Turkish Commercial Code revisions,
  • Being responsible from the quarterly CMB reports and supporting external & internal audit teams,
  • Analysing financial results, reviewing variances in actual vs. forecasted financials and proactively guiding the management about expectations,
  • Monitoring cash flow and working capital closely and informing management where necessary,
  • Taking active role in digitalization of planning & reporting processes, implementation and development of those systems.
