WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

More than 10 years of experience in inventory management or logistics,

Strong knowledge of supply chain processes,

Proficient in warehouse management systems and inventory software,

Experience in participating in or partially managing global-scale projects,

Proven team management experience,
-
Proficient in MRP systems and experienced in SAP,

Advanced skills in MS Office applications,
-
Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking),

Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail,
-
Strong communication skills,
-
No travel restrictions.
WHAT AWAITS YOU?
-
Conduct detailed analysis of inventory management processes (inventory tracking, inventory turnover rate, inventory accuracy, etc.); identify inefficiencies, errors, and improvement areas; design and implement improvement projects to optimize inventory management processes.

Measure and report the effectiveness of improvement initiatives, and plan necessary actions based on performance results.
-
Track and manage inventory records and movements of materials, equipment, fixed assets, and consumables belonging to Karmarine Shipyard, Powership facilities, Umurlu Facility, Karen, Administrative Affairs, and Site Preparation; ensure proper system management.

Conduct site visits to responsible locations and ensure proper inventory controls, audits, and cycle counting processes are in place.

Analyze deviations from the targets for various projects, identify root causes, and provide corrective recommendations.

Monitor and evaluate automation and technology solutions to improve inventory accuracy.

Develop and implement projects to optimize inventory turnover, minimize overstock and understock risks, reduce inventory costs, and evaluate stock carrying options at different levels

Ensure accuracy, up-to-dateness, and full digital integration of data included in stock cards, and oversee the correct and complete creation of stock cards.

Identify errors in stock cards and material master data, manage correction processes.

Ensure effective use of SAP and other inventory management systems, optimizing data flow between systems to minimize errors.

Manage the integration of new technologies and data optimization solutions into existing inventory management processes.

Define metrics for monitoring inventory management performance, such as turnover rate, inventory accuracy, and aging analysis.

Analyze inventory management performance data, prepare regular performance reports for Management, and develop improvement recommendations.

Determines optimal settings on the warehouse management and material allocation ensures their continuity, taking preventive actions as needed

Implementation and follow-up the improvement projects coming from HQ in the Powerships and Shipyard
-
Establish project governance, managing cross-functional project teams, and driving execution excellence.
