Go (Golang) Developer

We are looking for an experienced Go Developer to join our engineering team. You should be skilled in building scalable backend systems using Golang, and have a strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and system performance. You’ll work closely with our DevOps, QA, and frontend teams to create reliable and high-performing backend solutions for our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and applications using Go (Golang).
• Build and manage RESTful and gRPC APIs to connect with other systems.
• Improve the speed, reliability, and performance of our systems.
• Design and manage microservices that can scale easily and run smoothly.
• Work with product and engineering teams to understand needs and create strong technical solutions.
• Write clean, well-organized, and well-documented code.
• Review code from team members and help guide junior developers.
• Work with databases, caching, and messaging systems like PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Help set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Fix and prevent production issues with long-term solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall software development experience, with 3+ years in Go (Golang).
• Strong understanding of goroutines, channels, and concurrency in Go.
• Experience with REST APIs, gRPC, and microservice design.
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis.
• Strong debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience with unit testing, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
