Duties

• Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for fairways, greens, and landscaping areas
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting to keep the course visually appealing
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to repair bunkers, pathways, and other course features
• Conduct regular lawn care activities such as aerating, fertilizing, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth
• Assist with gardening and horticulture tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of flower beds and landscaped areas
• Support overall land management by performing routine maintenance on equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects that improve course functionality and appearance

Qualifications

• Prior experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscaping practices is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude
• Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to learn new skills related to golf course upkeep
