*We are looking* for a results-driven Google Ads Specialist who can help us acquire donors, increase donations, generate quality leads, improve ROAS, and build reliable tracking systems for our fundraising campaigns.
Role Overview
- The Google Ads Specialist will be responsible for planning, setting up, managing, optimizing, and reporting on Google Ads campaigns focused on donation acquisition, lead generation, fundraising growth, event registrations, and campaign awareness.
- This is not simply a social media or awareness role. The successful candidate must understand performance marketing, donor intent, conversion tracking, keyword strategy, lead quality, and measurable fundraising outcomes.
- The ideal candidate will be able to manage Google Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Display, and remarketing campaigns while ensuring all donations, leads, and event registrations are accurately tracked through GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads conversion tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and manage Google Ads campaigns for Forgotten Women’s fundraising and awareness campaigns.
- Manage Google Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, and remarketing campaigns.
- Create campaigns for Gaza Emergency Aid, Orphan Sponsorship, Ramadan, Zakat, Wells of Dignity, Save Toilets, Women in Business, Walks, fundraising events, and emergency humanitarian campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research and identify high-intent donor search terms.
- Build strong campaign structures based on audience, intent, and fundraising goals.
- Write and test ad copy that encourages donations, enquiries, event registrations, and supporter action.
- Manage budgets, bidding strategies, negative keywords, search terms, and audience targeting.
- Monitor campaign performance and make improvements based on data.
- Scale high-performing campaigns while controlling cost and improving ROI.
- Generate quality leads from people who may become donors, sponsors, event participants, or long-term supporters.
- Track lead quality, cost per lead, event sign-up cost, and lead-to-donation conversion rate.
- Increase one-off donations, monthly donations, Zakat donations, emergency appeal donations, water project donations, event-related donations, and orphan sponsorships.
- Plan and manage Google Ads campaigns to promote charity walks, fundraising events, and supporter registration campaigns.
- Track event form submissions, registration completions, WhatsApp enquiries, phone calls, and follow-up leads.
- Set up and manage Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Google Ads conversion tracking.
- Track donations, lead forms, event registrations, WhatsApp clicks, phone calls, and key website actions.
- Create and maintain performance dashboards and reports using Looker Studio.
- Run A/B tests on ads, landing pages, and campaign strategies.
- Optimize campaigns to improve CTR, conversions, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and ROI.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing Google Ads / PPC campaigns.
- Experience with Google Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Display, and remarketing campaigns.
- Strong keyword research, campaign structuring, and audience targeting skills.
- Good understanding of bidding strategies, budget management, and campaign optimization.
- Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads conversion tracking.
- Ability to track donations, leads, event registrations, and key website actions.
- Experience creating clear performance reports and dashboards, preferably in Looker Studio.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
Desirable Experience
- Charity, nonprofit, or fundraising campaign experience.
- Ramadan, Zakat, Sadaqah, Gaza, orphan sponsorship, or emergency appeal campaign experience.
- UK Muslim or diaspora audience targeting experience.
- Walks, events, or registration-based campaign experience.
- Meta Ads, SEO/SEM, SEMrush, SpyFu, or similar tools.
- Landing page or donation funnel optimization.
- Google Ads Certification.
