About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

JD Logistics Middle East is seeking an experienced Government Relations Officer (GRO) to support the expansion and daily operations of our express logistics business in Saudi Arabia . This role is critical in ensuring full regulatory compliance, smooth government interactions, and timely business execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all government-related processes, including license applications, renewals, permits, and registrations relevant to express logistics operations.
• Coordinate and support government inspections, audits, and compliance checks to ensure uninterrupted business activities.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and Saudi government authorities, ministries, and regulatory bodies.
• Build, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with local government stakeholders to proactively resolve issues and support business expansion.
• Monitor and interpret local laws, regulations, and policy changes, advising internal stakeholders on potential impacts.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (HR, Operations, Legal, Compliance) to ensure alignment on regulatory requirements.
• Proactively identify risks and implement solutions to avoid delays or compliance challenges.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Saudi National, currently based in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of Saudi government procedures, regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Established government network or access to relevant authorities; experience in public affairs or government relations is highly preferred.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Prior experience in logistics, e-commerce, express delivery, or multinational companies is a strong advantage.
