Government Relations Specialist

Purpose of the Role:

The Government Relations Officer will support the Government Relations function by managing and coordinating all activities related to Dubai Land Department (DLD) and RERA processes. The role ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements, accurate execution of registrations and approvals, and smooth coordination between internal teams and government authorities to support ongoing and new real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Government Relations Manager in managing all DLD and RERA-related activities.
• Oversee and manage developer registration processes.
• Handle registration of new projects in compliance with DLD requirements.
• Manage the issuance of advertising and marketing permits through RERA.
• Administer property registration processes.
• Supervise operations on Oqood and DSR systems.
• Monitor and reconcile Noqodi transactions.
• Update registration statuses in internal systems and coordinate with RERA to resolve registration discrepancies or errors.
• Manage end-to-end property settlement, cancellation, and termination processes in line with DLD regulations.
• Coordinate and comply with DLD project inspection requirements.
• Handle customer dispute cases and other RERA-related matters in coordination with DLD.
• Manage Oqood applications, title deed issuance, and related documentation.
• Support the Legal team by providing required case details and assisting with enforcement notices.
• Liaise closely with Finance and Sales Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of processes.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in government affairs, or fresh graduates from Civil Engineering.
• Arabic Speaker is a MUST.
• Proven experience in developer registration, off-plan project registration, escrow account management, and property registration, cancellation, and termination processes.
• Established working relationships within DLD.
• Strong familiarity with DLD developer-related procedures, systems, and policies.
