Grant Writer/ RFP Specialist (healthcare)

Role Overview:
PsychPlus is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Grant & RFP Specialist to lead the development of compelling proposals that drive organizational growth. This role will own the end-to-end process of identifying, writing, and submitting grants and RFP responses across healthcare systems, payers, and government opportunities. The ideal candidate understands behavioral health, can translate clinical and operational strengths into persuasive narratives, and thrives in deadline-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and track relevant grant and RFP opportunities across federal, state, payer, and private sectors
  • Lead end-to-end proposal development including research, writing, editing, and submission
  • Collaborate with clinical, operations, finance, and leadership teams to gather required inputs
  • Develop high-quality, tailored responses highlighting PsychPlus’ behavioral health services and outcomes
  • Maintain a content library (case studies, metrics, boilerplate responses) for faster turnaround
  • Ensure compliance with all RFP/grant requirements, formatting, and submission guidelines
  • Manage timelines, internal stakeholders, and submission deadlines with precision
  • Analyze win/loss outcomes and continuously improve proposal strategy

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in grant writing, RFPs, or proposal development (healthcare preferred)
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with behavioral health, telehealth, or healthcare services is a strong plus
  • Experience responding to government and payer RFPs preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; experience with proposal tools is a plus

Nice-to-Have

  • Background in behavioral health or healthcare services
  • Experience with Medicaid/Medicare or value-based care proposals
  • Knowledge of grant databases and funding sources

Impact

This role directly contributes to PsychPlus’ expansion by securing new partnerships, funding, and strategic contracts in the behavioral health space.

Pay: From Rs195,000.00 per month
