Graphic Design Intern

Lessing's is seeking a Graphic Design Intern who can help design, create and conceptualize print and digital marketing materials. The ideal candidate must be a passionate designer and possess a strong layout and typography skill set. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can thrive in a busy environment and is eager to learn.

Location: Great River, NY

Some Responsibilities will include:

• Design print and digital materials for multiple brands and prep existing designs for production
• Design and produce a variety of projects including advertisements, posters, menus, brochures, logos and more.
• Help conceptualize new designs and update existing artwork
• Take a vision from conception to completion and delivery
• Grow your design skills and portfolio with both print and digital materials

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or design-related field
• Experience in print and graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) Word and Excel, MAC or PC
• Strong collaboration skills and highly motivated
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
• Possess strong written and proofreading skills
• Passionate and friendly with a positive attitude
