About the role:

We are looking for a Graphic Designer who will be primarily responsible for Package Designing .

Reports to: Buyer/Senior Buyer, Lifestyle

Key interactions: Buyers, Coordinators, Quality, Vendors (External)

Key Responsibilities:

• Should be well aware of tools and applications used for Graphic designing
• Understand the creative and business needs
• Apply advanced and diversified concepts to create the graphic representations on system with combination of different colour pallets
• Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material according to the product requirement.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed
• Continuously evolve packaging designs and patterns as per on-going trends globally
• Come-up with new ideas with mood-board and trends as per global trends, market research
• Make sure that packaging requirements are completed within timeline to meet on-time shipment
• Research and keep abreast of the latest designs, market trends and needs of the customers and competition

Key Requirements:

• Basic Qualification: Graduate degree in the Fine Arts (Visual Arts) essential or design
• Diploma/Certification in Graphic Design from any Accredited Institute (NIFT candidates are preferred)
• Certification in Adobe illustrator & Photoshop preferable
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Graphic Arts and Design
• Knowledge of Coral Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
• Knowledge of Windows & MAC Operating Systems
• Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint
• Creative Thinking
• Visualizing ability
• Attention to detail
• Graphic design and print production mediums
• Understanding of target customer
