Ground Worker

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors and supports tree care operations by assisting climbers and crew members on the ground. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and a strong work ethic. As a Ground Worker, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and efficient job sites while contributing to the overall health and appearance of landscapes.

Duties

• Assist tree climbers and crew members with tree trimming and removal operations.
• Operate and maintain ground equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and blowers.
• Follow proper safety procedures while handling tools and working around heavy equipment.
• Manage ropes and rigging from the ground to support safe branch lowering.
• Clean and maintain job sites by removing debris, raking, and hauling materials.
• Support general landscape maintenance tasks as needed.
• Help inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure proper working condition.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, tree care, or outdoor labor is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
