Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Ground Worker and Tree Care Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes and tree health. This energetic position involves hands-on work in tree care, landscape maintenance, and land improvement projects. You will operate equipment such as bucket trucks and perform essential tasks like tree trimming, pruning, and lawn care. Duties

• Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal using rigging techniques and safety protocols
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment such as tractors or skid steers to access high or hard-to-reach areas
• Support landscape maintenance tasks like lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping projects
• Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and site planning when required
• Perform land clearing, site preparation, and erosion control work to prepare sites for development or beautification
• Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment, securing rigging setups, and following all safety procedures during operations
• Contribute to team efforts in growing plant material, horticultural practices, and overall landscape enhancement

Qualifications

• Previous experience or growing knowledge in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
• Familiarity with rigging techniques, bucket operation, and the use of bucket trucks is advantageous
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Basic understanding of GIS technology or willingness to learn its application in site planning is a plus
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality workmanship
• Valid driver’s license; certification in tree care or landscape maintenance is a bonus
