Groundskeeper

Description

Are you passionate about creating beautiful outdoor spaces? Do you have a green thumb and a keen eye for detail? If so, we’re looking for a talented Groundskeeper to join our team!

The Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining the landscaping and outdoor areas of the multiple company properties, ensuring that all grounds are well-maintained, safe and attractive to visitors and employees. This person will work with property managers and other members of the Grounds Team to develop and execute landscaping plans that meet the needs of each property.

Job Duties

• Maintain the landscaping and outdoor areas of multiple company properties, including mowing, trimming, planting and irrigation.
• Provide preventative maintenance and repairs to pools, hot tubs, fountains and other water features.
• Keep flower beds wellmaintained, including planting flowers, irrigation and removal of weeds.
• Ensure that all outdoor areas are clean and free of debris, and that all walkways, driveways and parking areas are safe and wellmaintained.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws and other power tools.
• Identify and report landscaping and grounds maintenance issues.
• Remove loose trash and waste from the grounds at all company properties.
• Assist with snow removal and ice control during winter months.
• Assist with moving furniture or other items at or between properties.
• Assis with minor construction tasks as needed.
• Trim trees as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report maintenance issues.
• Experience with landscaping, irrigation or pool maintenance desired.
