Groundskeeper

Overview
The groundskeeper maintains and repairs the campground, helping keep it functionally and aesthetically sound using power equipment and hand tools. Reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor, their daily, weekly, and season duties are listed.

Duties

• Maintaining the park's landscaping, garden, lawns, trees, bushes, shrubs, hedges, etc.
• Cleaning campsites.
• Maintaining the park and its campsites.
• Emptying trash and bottle recycling receptables daily, morning and evening.
• Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining shop.
• Maintains, cleans, repairs, and services all equipment used in the grounds maintenance such as mowers, tractors/trailers, woodchippers, snowplows, salt spreaders, and a variety of hand/power tools.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, mechanic's tools, power, hand, and yard equipment or tools.
• Clean and maintain washing machines agitators and dryer vents.
• Clean restrooms.
• Support Boat Master when needed.
• Support Cafe and Office Personnel when needed.
• Be observant for activities within the campground requiring immediate attention - ranging from a tree needing trimmed to potential guest issues.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
